The AI notices what you can't: a subtle shift in bathroom frequency that could signal a urinary issue days before other symptoms appear. Early intervention starts with early data.

FeedSmart™ doesn't just dispense food. It thinks about portion size relative to your cat's current weight and activity level, uses camera-based face recognition to tell which cat is eating, and sends every meal to FurNote's nutrition tracker so you always know exactly what went in.

Eating is one of the most informative health signals there is. A cat that suddenly leaves food in the bowl has changed its behavior. FeedSmart™ notices — and tells FurNote before you do.

AI-driven portion control Calculates portion size from your cat's weight, age, breed profile, and feeding history. When PurView™ is present, activity data sharpens the recommendation further. Adjusts automatically as your cat's needs change.
Scheduled and on-demand feeding Set recurring meal times or trigger a serving from the FurNote app wherever you are. Useful for travel days, irregular schedules, or cats that need smaller, more frequent meals.

PurView™ informs AI judgment

Behavioral data from the PurView™ — activity levels, sleep patterns, grooming frequency — is incorporated into FurNote's AI responses. When you ask how Loki is doing, FurNote has actually been watching.

Reduced food intake + increased litter visits + lower activity — four separate signals from four devices that, when seen together, might indicate a urinary issue worth discussing with your vet. No single device sees the full picture. All four do.

Weekly reports get richer

Design Philosophy

"Designed to disappear."

Every Autorums device was designed with a single constraint: it should not feel like a gadget. Gadgets are things you notice, fiddle with, and eventually stop using. The best hardware is hardware you forget about because it simply works, quietly, in the background of your life.

LitterSense™ blends into the corner it sits in. FeedSmart™ looks like something that belongs in a thoughtfully designed kitchen. The PurView™ sits on a shelf without drawing attention to itself. The matte finishes, the restrained proportions, the absence of LEDs blinking at 3am — all deliberate.

Good design for pet hardware is design that respects your home as much as it respects your cat's health.

Quiet by default

Motors under 38 dB. No notification LEDs. No sounds that disturb your cat's trust in the device. Technology should not startle the animal it's designed to help.

Fits any home

Matte ceramic white and warm stone finishes. No sharp angles, no aggressive branding. Proportions that work with furniture rather than competing with it. Objects your guests won't notice.

Zero-configuration setup

Open the FurNote app, scan the device QR code, and it's done. No separate companion apps, no accounts to create, no firmware update rituals. Working in under two minutes.

Privacy

Your home stays yours.

A camera in your home is a serious decision. We chose the PurView™ — and designed the entire hardware line — around the assumption that you should always be in complete control of what happens with the data these devices collect.

The default for every privacy-sensitive feature is off. You opt in deliberately. You can always opt back out. And when you do, that choice is enforced at the hardware level, not in software that could theoretically be bypassed.

Physical lens cover

The PurView™'s lens cover is mechanical — the lens physically rolls away and a cover slides over it. When privacy mode is enabled, the lens is physically blocked. No software override possible, no remote bypass. You can see the cover position from across the room.

No cloud video storage required

Video is stored locally on a microSD card, or encrypted in iCloud through HomeKit Secure Video. Cloud backup is entirely optional and off by default. If you never enable it, your footage never leaves your home network.

AI processing stays on-device

Behavioral analysis runs on the PurView™'s built-in processor. Video frames are analyzed locally and only structured behavioral summaries — not video — are sent to FurNote. Your cat's video does not leave the device for AI processing.

Health data stays with you

LitterSense™ and FeedSmart™ transmit behavioral summaries and health metrics — not raw sensor streams. All data aggregates into your FurNote archive on your phone, subject to the same privacy standards as the app itself.

Privacy mode is a physical thing

One tap in FurNote engages the PurView™'s mechanical privacy shutter. The lens rolls away and a physical cover slides over it. There is no software path that can capture video when the shutter is closed.

Local-first by design

All four devices are designed to work without cloud services. LitterSense™, FeedSmart™, and NutriScale™ use Bluetooth and local Wi-Fi for FurNote sync. The PurView™ stores video locally on microSD. Cloud features are additions, not requirements.

No accounts, no subscriptions

Hardware features work without a subscription. AI-driven behavioral analysis and cross-device correlation require the FurNote app, which runs on your phone. There is no separate hardware subscription.
