Our Story

Built for the cats
who deserve better.

Autorums began with a simple frustration — watching cat owners piece together routines, records, feeding changes, and vet history across unreliable apps, scattered notes, and memory. We knew there had to be a better way.

Where Autorums came from.

It started with a love for cats. Our founders are lifelong cat people who realized that caring for a cat — feeding, routines, growth, medical records, breed-specific needs — was scattered across apps, spreadsheets, and paper notes. When one of our cats needed his first vet visit, pulling together the full picture was a mess. We knew there had to be a better way.

That experience was not unusual. Millions of cat owners care deeply about their pets but have no real tools to hold daily care, long-term changes, and health history together. By the time something feels off, weeks or months of useful context have already slipped away.

Autorums was founded to change that. We combine an AI companion for daily cat care, functional nutrition, and connected hardware into a system that works the way cat care actually works — continuously, quietly, and always there when you need it.

We are a team based in Hong Kong, with a footprint across the Greater Bay Area. We move deliberately. Everything we prepare for launch goes through months of work with real cat owners and veterinary professionals before it reaches iOS, retail shelves, or your doorstep. We would rather do one thing right than ten things quickly.

What We Stand For

Our values.

These are not aspirations. They are the decisions we make every day about what to build, what to skip, and how we treat the people and animals who depend on us.

Care First

Every product starts with a real problem faced by real cat owners. We spend more time listening than building. We talk to pet owners, sit in on vet consultations, and map out actual workflows before we design a single screen or formulate a single ingredient. The cat comes first. The owner comes first. The product follows.

Science, Honestly Applied

We work with veterinary professionals and nutrition researchers because good intentions are not enough. Our nutrition formulas are developed from peer-reviewed research and refined through independent testing. Our AI models are trained on verified health data, not guesswork. When we say "medical-grade taurine" we can show you exactly what that means.

Built to Last

We ship reliable products. No shortcuts, no duct tape. FurNote is designed so that a cat's health history is preserved and accessible years from now. Our hardware is engineered for daily use in the environments real homes provide — not controlled lab conditions. We build things we would trust with our own cats.

Stay Honest

We do not oversell. If something is coming soon, we say so. If a feature does not work reliably yet, we do not ship it. We do not use technical jargon to make things sound more impressive than they are. Your data stays on your phone, in plain terms. Your cat's health records are yours, always. No surprises.

Our Journey

How we got here.

From a frustrating idea in a vet's waiting room to a connected cat health system nearing launch.

Early 2026

The problem becomes undeniable

Too many cat owners rely on guesswork for their cat's health. Vet visits happen too late, records are scattered, and early warning signs go unnoticed. We knew AI could change this — and started talking to cat owners to understand exactly how.

Mid 2026

FurNote prototype

The first FurNote is tested with cat owners in Hong Kong and Taipei. The key discovery: AI is most helpful when it learns your specific cat — breed, age, history — and gives personalized advice, not generic answers. This shapes everything that follows.

Late 2026

Expert advisors join

Cat health experts join the team to make sure FurNote's AI gives accurate, trustworthy answers. At the same time, nutrition research begins — we discover most cat treats are seriously lacking in taurine, the nutrient cats need most but can't make themselves.

Early 2027

Autrition™ takes shape

Our treat line comes to life — six formulas, each designed around a real health need. Pharmaceutical-grade taurine, clean ingredients, every batch tested. Not just treats that taste good, but treats that actually do good.

Now

The system comes together

FurNote is approaching its iOS launch. Autrition™ is moving through launch preparation. Smart hardware — PurView™, LitterSense™, FeedSmart™, and NutriScale™ — is in final development. The ecosystem is defined: AI that connects what your cat does, what your cat eats, and what changes over time into one health picture.

"Cats cannot tell you when something is wrong. We build the tools that help you notice before it becomes a crisis."
Autorums — Founding principle

Who We Are

A team, deeply focused.

We are a tight-knit group with backgrounds in AI, mobile software, veterinary medicine, and consumer hardware. Everyone on the team has a cat. That is not a coincidence.

Founder & CEO

Leadership

Previously built consumer apps with tens of thousands of daily users. Cat owner for eleven years. Convinced that the best animal welfare technology has not been built yet.

Head of AI

Artificial Intelligence

Specialist in on-device machine learning and conversational AI. Focused on building AI that feels like a knowledgeable friend rather than a search engine. Three cats.

Lead Veterinary Advisor

Clinical & Nutrition

Feline internal medicine specialist with fifteen years of clinical practice. Ensures every health insight FurNote surfaces is accurate and actionable. Also the reason our taurine levels are actually correct.

Head of Product

Product & Design

Obsessive about simplicity. Spent five years making complex health software easy enough for anyone to use. Believes that if something needs a manual, the design has failed.
